| John Wingate, the son
of Jeremiah and Elizabeth
(Browning) Wingate, was born in 1790 probably in North
Carolina. In 1797 his family
moved to Nassau, Co., Florida. He married Rachel around 1819 in Nassau Co. and they had seven children. |
